Dustin is 12!

Dustin turned 12 yesterday. He just got back from Pennsylvania on Saturday so he was quite busy once he got back. No fun that today was the 1st day of 6th grade. Oh well, back to the grind.


He doesn't remember getting any cards. Doesn't remember who they were from or what the cards said. But he knows how much cold hard cash he got.

Monterey, August 4 - 5, 2008

Our initial plans to go Yosemite fell through because of the fire so we decided to spend our short break in Monterey. We took Miette on the usually breathtaking 17 Mile Drive and stayed at The Monterey Plaza Hotel. Although the weather was overcast and a bit on the cooler side, we made the best of our stay and had a terrific time

New & Improved

We've decided to upgrade our tiny bit of cyberspace and dedicate it to our ever-growing and expanding family tree. It's not that we're having problems posting pictures of Miette's growth and progress (believe me when I say, we can post pics of our daughter all day every day). I've been meaning to start a family blog eventually where everyone can participate and post as they please. I figured that transitioning Miette's site was the obvious thing to do.
